Rachel is a charted Town Planner with 15 years’ experience in the private sector. Rachel’s planning experience is diverse, ranging across mixed-use, retail, commercial and residential development.

Her area of specialism is retail, providing clients with initial advice through to the negotiation of acceptable planning consents for major retail proposals, including the preparation of Retail Assessments.

Rachel has an eye for detail, a thorough and in-depth understanding of planning legislation and a commercial approach to advice. She manages and co-ordinates large multi-disciplinary project teams, acting as lead consultant and has provided expert witness evidence at Informal Hearings and Examinations in Public.

The Oracle, Reading
On-going Asset Management advice in respect of The Oracle Shopping Centre, Reading. Planning permission recently secured for a new restaurant for CAU (part of the Gaucho Group) and a roof level Management Suite.

Residential development
Residential schemes nationwide, including new build and the conversion of existing residential, commercial property. Particular experience of residential development in South West London.

Premier Inn
A new Premier Inn hotel on a constrained site within a Conservation Area in Devon.

Retail Warehousing, Dover
A new retail warehouse scheme in Dover.

A portfolio review for a national pub operator, identifying opportunities for realising value through development, redevelopment.
